What is Spiritual Care?
SPIRITUAL CARE is a ministry of Roswell Community Church where people can be comforted, supported, loved, and equipped in a way that is honoring to God and compassionate towards the struggles of individuals and families.
As the hurt of this world can feel overwhelming, our goal is to help you not feel alone. We want to meet people in those difficult places and help them find hope in Jesus.
*CARE Ministry is spiritual, relational, & emotional support. This is not professional therapy.
Spiritual Care Classes
Spiritual Care classes are designed to equip individuals to step into other people’s struggles instead of fixing or ignoring them. These classes teach how to come alongside someone in a way that honors God and honors their pain, as well as helping individuals recognize their own obstacles and path toward health as they experience the compassion of Jesus.
Receiving Spiritual Care
Spiritual Care (one-on-one) is open to anyone who would like to get emotional, relational, and spiritual support regarding life’s challenges in an atmosphere that feels supportive and safe. Individuals who receive one-on-one spiritual care meet in person or online with a spiritual caregiver for about 10-15 meetings. Spiritual Caregivers are trained volunteers and not licensed therapists.
